Cocoa Powder, Butter, and Paste — Distributed Across the EU
From Prague

We import single-origin cocoa raw materials from the Dominican Republic and supply them to bakeries, confectionery factories, and industrial food manufacturers across the EU. The origin plant is FSSC 22000 certified. Stock ships from our Prague warehouse, so lead times to most member states stay short.

Direct Imports

We buy direct from the processing plant in the Dominican Republic. Every lot is traceable from the origin plant to our warehouse.

Quality Control

Cocoa is produced at the origin plant under GMP with HACCP-based food safety management, certified to FSSC 22000. Each shipment ships with a Safety Data Sheet.

EU Delivery From Prague

Everything moves by road from our Prague hub. Its central position keeps transit times down across the member states.

Who We Are

About FEMUN CORE

FEMUN CORE s.r.o. is a Prague-based importer and distributor of cocoa raw materials for the European B2B market. We single-source from the Dominican Republic and stock three lines — cocoa powder, cocoa butter, and cocoa paste — in Prague, so manufacturers can order to a consistent spec and a predictable lead time.

We buy direct from the origin processing plant and handle the customs, storage, and EU distribution ourselves. That keeps the chain short: origin plant, our warehouse, your production line.

How The Cocoa Is Made

From Harvest to Our Prague Warehouse

Here's how the cocoa we import from the Dominican Republic is produced at origin, and how it reaches you.

Harvesting Cocoa

100% Pure Process

No artificial additives

01

Harvesting & Fermentation

Pods are hand-harvested and opened. The beans ferment in wooden boxes for 5–7 days, which develops the chocolate aroma and cuts bitterness.

02

Sun-Drying & Sorting

Beans dry in the sun for up to 10 days, until moisture drops to 6–7%. They're then sorted and packed into jute bags for export.

03

Cleaning & Roasting

At the facility, beans are cleaned of impurities and roasted at 110–140 °C to develop the flavour.

04

Winnowing & Grinding

Shells are removed and the nibs are ground. Friction melts the natural fat, producing a smooth, 100% cocoa mass.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common inquiries from our B2B partners and wholesale clients.

Why Dominican Republic cocoa?

We single-source from the Dominican Republic, one of the origins most valued by the fine-cocoa trade. The island's climate and careful post-harvest handling give beans that are cleaner and more consistent than most bulk origins — lower foreign-matter content, tighter sorting, and stable lab parameters (fat, moisture, pH) from lot to lot. The result is a fuller, more rounded cocoa flavour and a raw material you can formulate around with confidence.

What are your minimum order quantities?

The minimum order is one 25 kg net unit: a food-grade polypropylene inner bag inside a corrugated carton. For pallet and full-container pricing, contact sales and we'll confirm the wholesale price for your order.

Are your products EU compliant?

Yes. They meet Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 (food information) and Commission Regulation (EC) No 1881/2006 (maximum contaminant levels). They're Non-GMO, contain no irradiated ingredients, and ship with full Safety Data Sheets.

Where do you ship from?

From our warehouse in Prague, Czech Republic, by road. The central location means fast, reliable transit to all EU member states.

Can I request a product sample?

Yes. Send your company details and production requirements through the contact form and we'll arrange laboratory samples for testing.
